GrowMe™ / EmpowerMe™

Tools to help your team reduce stress and build resiliency.

The world we live in is more demanding, and it’s affecting all our happiness. In fact, 63% of Canadians say they are feeling more stress as compared with five years ago. On the positive side, 87% feel that seeking professional help is not a sign of weakness.

Employers have become more aware of their responsibility for workplace well-being. The HealthyMe™ team are delighted that the barriers to people seeking help are becoming fewer.

We’ve designed two course options for the private sector, GrowMe™ for larger and EmpowerMe™ for smaller organizations.

GrowMe™

A course to support organizations with large departments or those working cross-functionally in multidisciplinary groups. This e-learning pathway has personalized monthly workshop check-ins.

EmpowerMe™

A course suitable for smaller organizations. There is no lower limit on delegates. They gain a library of e-learning content with a lighter workshop touch. Delegates are welcome to join our public workshops.

Skills Toolkit

All courses offer a skills toolkit that contains a useful combination of skills. First, they will assist delegates to improve coping mechanisms. Second, they help every student to learn, practice and then use in their day-to-day lives.

These tools support learners to reduce stress and build resiliency. Helping them to affirm their independent capacity and to achieve their goals.

We want to share these skills which have been so helpful for our patients as well as for us personally.

Each course uses an evidence-based mix of proven techniques delivered as follows:

12 weeks of content: walking step-by-step through the sections, including:

Snapshots: The 2-minute bite-size ‘snapshots’ are introductions, so learners know where the course is going next. They’re also handy as a quick refresher.

Digging Deeper: These 10-minute sessions add detail to the topic’s theory, helping to expand their understanding.

Practically Speaking: Helping learners see the real ways to use these skills. In less than 15 minutes they’ll hear how they work, and how to practice.

Discussion boards: Every learner is invited to use the discussion board to share opinions. They can network with peers and hear input from the course advisor.

Reflection and feedback: Learners use the reflection questions to assess their learning and detail where they’d like more support. They are asked to set personal goals too.

Join in the workshops: these interactive workshops are to answer questions and top up any areas that need a touch more theory.
